From public safety to healthcare to finance, 5G adoption will impact many industries with new opportunities. But it is important to understand the requirements that different use cases will bring while also contributing to international standardisation efforts to ensure interoperability and greater efficiency.

Global5G.org will help strengthen the link between research and innovation, vertical industries, and standardisation as diverse requirements emerge across different vertical industry use cases. Global5G.org will also play a role in supporting consensus building on standardisation globally and policy harmonisation in the EU.

5G Health Session organised by Global5G.org IEEE 5G Summit - 18 September | Helsinki5GWeek

Health 4.0 revolves around cyber-physical systems, Industrial Internet of Things and robotics. It is clearly dependent on fast, reliable and secure data exchange. This provides the context for 5G. Healthcare stakeholders come together to share their vision for 5G and how it is expected to transform the industry. What requirements have we already identified? What are the most relevant standards? What common goals should we pursue collectively and who should be involved?

These are some of the questions renowned experts from industry and academia will be addressing during the first in a series of events and webinars on 5G Health.
